Ambassadors Program

Sometimes difficult times create opportunities. In early April of 2020, Wells Bring Hope received an influx of high school students interested in volunteering to help support the cause. Close to thirty young people from all across the country and from all walks of life reached out. These students expressed very positive feelings about Wells Bring Hope and a deep desire to become involved. President and Founder, Barbara Goldberg, decided to turn this into a learning opportunity for them and thus developed the Wells Bring Hope Ambassadors Program.

The program is designed to train young people in Community Outreach – how to go out into their communities and generate awareness of and support for a cause they believe in. It is an eight-week seminar with students meeting via Zoom for one hour every Saturday morning. Upon completion of the course, students receive a certificate indicating that they have successfully fulfilled the requirements of the program.
The Wells Bring Hope Ambassadors Program is taught by founder and president, Barbara Goldberg, and also includes inspirational guest speakers, among them former volunteers who joined WBH in their teens. To complete the Program, each Ambassador is asked to create a video or creative project to encourage people to support Wells Bring Hope, using whatever medium they feel comfortable working in.
